Posted 16/12/2007 06:53:36 AM | | These are the name and the people they belong to. Need help with my family tree. Jane Bailey b abt 1822 in Wicken, married William Creek Jan 17, 1842 in Isle of Ely, Cambridgeshire, England. William was b abt 1817 in Thetford, Isle of Ely, Cam. He died in the Dec quarter of 1844. Of their union they had son Henry Creek b. abt 1844 in Thetford. Jane Bailey Creek married (or maybe not married) a William Weaver. Willaim was b 1813-1823 in Buckland Dinham or Frome, Somerset. He was, according to census' was a Chelsea Pensioner, Greenwich Pensioner and army Pensioner. Jane and William at one point lived in Guernsey, Channel Island as that is where their daughter my gg-grandmother Susan Weaver was born in 1847/48. Jane' parent' were Henry and Mary Bailey. Henry died abt 1837 in Wicken. Mary was widowed with 4 children Henry, Jane, Robert and Sarah (1841 Census).
Susan Weaver' mother-in-law was Margaret Bailey who married Thomas Cheer in March 27, 1832 in St. James, Paddington, London (there was another listing with a different date and place, so this may be wrong). Margaret Bailey was b. abt 1812 in Soham, Cam. Her parents were Henry Bailey and Elizabeth Newton. they married sep 10, 1807 in Soham. Of their union born to them was Margaret and John Bailey. John died in 1815 as did Elizabeth. Elizabeth Newton was b. Nov 22, 1789 in Soham- died 1815. Her parents were William Newton and Ann Webb.
If anyone can help fill in the missing pieces, are related to these people, any info would be greatly appreciated.
