Hi,
We are currently researching the many Pubs and Inns that were here in Soham, we are looking for information on a Pub/Beer House that was called the Ten Bells and stood in Ten Bell Lane just of Pratt St, we have not been able to find documentation of this establishment as yet, but Local People say that the Lane was named after it, any info would be very welcome, also any info on the Brewery in Soham, that stood on Paddock Street, once owned by Treadway & Percy amongst others would be welcome.
Thanks, Julie, Soham Roots.

Hi Julie,

An "Old Postcards" book by Michael Rouse, says the "Ten Bells" was on Pratt Street, not Ten Bells Lane. From the photo it looks like the "Ten Bells" was on the right hand side of the lane and had been converted into a house when the photo was taken in 1930.

Regards,
Denise
